French flair made its way to East Cobb this September. A new business called “Salon Frenchie” opened its doors within Sola Salons, offering permanent makeup services to women in our community. Owner Rita, who has been given the name Frenchie since moving to the U.S. three years ago, brings with her more than 15 years of expertise in the field.

A native of Paris, France, Frenchie worked at a plastic surgery clinic in the surgery rooms, as well as in the beauty and micropigmentation (permanent makeup) aspect of the business. Her clientele included people from all walks of life – stars and singers in the entertainment industry who wanted to fine-tune their appearances, cancer patients who needed help with hair and makeup issues, and discerning women who wanted to maintain a look of sophistication. Frenchie is a master in micropigmentation and taught classes for many years on various procedures. She also consulted with celebrities on complete makeovers. But after falling in love with an American, she married and moved to the East Cobb area, leaving behind a successful career.

Once here, she held several different jobs in healthcare, but wanted to return to her passion of creating beauty in women. After necessary licensing, she now provides the same top-notch procedures at Salon Frenchie that she offered in Paris. Frenchie brings her French background and sense of style to all of her procedures.

“Because of my medical environment background, I feel it is of the utmost importance to use the highest quality equipment available,” explains Frenchie. “I order all of my permanent makeup equipment and pigments from Europe and all other clinical supplies from a medical-grade company that physicians use and trust.”

At Salon Frenchie, women can choose from an array of services, including permanent top/bottom eyeliner, lip liner or fuller lips, eyelashes, hair simulation, cheek color, eyebrows, freckle or mole additions, areola enhancements, or camouflage procedures to cover scars or discolored skin areas. In addition, Salon Frenchie plans to add semipermanent eyelash extensions and Botox services.

According to Frenchie, her pricing is in the mid-range compared to other metro Atlanta businesses that offer these services, but a great value for the caliber of experience and training that she has in this field. Salon Frenchie is currently the only permanent makeup business in the East Cobb area.
